ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who will be in charge of improving our delivery pipelines and providing a reliable and scalable platform to our customers.

As a member of our DevOps team, in a typical day, you will:

• Monitor our platform availability and performance using Kibana/Grafana/Prometheus
• Process support tickets, determine incident root causes and add new alerts to our monitoring platform
• Improve our monitoring stack, adding new alerts and metrics to our monitoring platform
• Work on the migration to public cloud using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Work in collaboration with development teams to continuously improve their code delivery pipelines using Ansible/Jenkins (or another CI, we are thinking about changing!)
• Help the development teams move the platform from Windows/NET/NETCore to Linux/NETCore/NodeJS, from Monolithic to Microservices
• Explore new technologies, imagine how we could leverage them and be aware of critical security issues

ABOUT YOU

• You have been building pipelines and/or monitoring production environments for 2+ years in the cloud and on premises: Linux, Windows, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible
• You have a great experience working in Windows/IIS/SQLServer environments
• You have a good experience working in Unix/Linux environments and a good knowledge of networking systems
• You have experience with monitoring/metric tools
• You care about code security, quality, simplicity and performance
• You have a real passion for automation
• You are familiar with, or ready to take, on-call duties
• You are fluent in English
• You have effective communication skills particularly within a team environment
• You have strong troubleshooting ability and are able to learn quickly (using any tools at your disposal) where knowledge gaps exist to find solutions to technical problems.

Bonus points

• You have a previous experience or background in cybersecurity and PCI-DSS
• You have worked at high scale with systems like Apache Kafka, ElasticSearch or others
• You have worked with Kubernetes and CI tools
• You contributed to a major open-source project
