Lead Platform Engineer (M/F)

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer (also known as Devops) who will lead the Platform Engineering team and take responsibility for improving our delivery pipelines and providing a reliable and scalable platform to our customers.

Your missions will be :

• Manage the Platform Engineering Team (5 people)
• Make lead decisions for guiding the team in sprints
• Work in collaboration with development teams to continuously improve their code delivery pipelines using Ansible/Jenkins (or another CI, we are thinking about changing!)

• Ensure that releases are smooth, objective is to deliver on-demand
• Monitor our platform availability and performance using Kibana/Logic Monitor/Open Telemetry
• Process support tickets, determine incident root causes and add new alerts to our monitoring platform

• Improve our monitoring stack, adding new alerts and metrics to our monitoring Platform

• Work on the migration to public cloud using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Help the development teams move the platform from Windows/.NET/.NET Core to Linux/.NET Core/NodeJS, from Monolithic to Microservices
• Explore new technologies, imagine how we could leverage them and be aware of critical security issues.

Follow transversal projects and assist to improve the overall delivery including release management process.

You’re the perfect candidate if you have :

• effective communication skills particularly within a team environment
• strong troubleshooting ability and are able to learn quickly (using any tools at your disposal) where knowledge gaps exist to find solutions to technical problems.
• you have been building pipelines and/or monitoring production environments for 2+ years in the cloud and on premises
• AWS
• great experience working in Windows/IIS/SQLServer environments
• good experience working in Unix/Linux environments and a
• Good knowledge of networking systems
• Docker
• Terraform
• Ansible

• You care about code security, quality, simplicity and performance
• Fluent in French and English
• are familiar with, or ready to take, on-call duties

Nice to have :

• Microsoft Azure
• Kubernetes
• You have experience with monitoring/metric tools

Bonus points :

• You have an experience in payment / regulated industry
• You have a previous experience or background in cybersecurity and PCI-DSS
• You have worked at high scale with systems like Apache Kafka, ElasticSearch or
  others
• You have worked with Kubernetes and CI tools
• You contributed to a major open-source project
