The role

Are you interested in a writing career in a fast paced and dynamic environment? We are searching for an enthusiastic Technical/Product Writer intern to join our growing team.

This position would be suitable for anyone who wants to pursue a career in any area of tech or finance. Your day-to-day duties will be working with the Product Documentation Manager and various departments within the company.

As a product and technical writer, you will be at the forefront of an innovative product. You will learn the following skills:

• Planning and documentation management

• Writing styles and industry standards

• Writing about new technologies and APIs

• Writing about complex topics in a simple and effective way

• Working directly and indirectly with Design, UX, Tech, Support, and Implementation Managers.

In this role, you will be responsible for :

• Research market competitors

• Prioritize developments by assessing their impacts and efforts required.

• Work closely with the documentation manager and the engineering team

• Work with Marketing and Support teams to make sure that clients understand our product and new features

Skills

• Good communication skills

• Good spoken and written English required (Bilingual in English and French is beneficial, but not essential)

• Knowledge of finance or the banking industry would be an advantage

• Basic knowledge of HTML and Markdown

• Knowledge of MS Visual Studio would be an advantage

• A highly motivated individual with great communication and interpersonal skills

• A willingness to think outside the box

• A technical background would be a plus

• You enjoy evolving in a multicultural environment

Background

• An ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization some knowledge of HTML and Markdown

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

• Experience with APIs

• Knowledge of the payment / banking / finance industry would be a bonus

• A real team player with a deep sense of collaboration but also are comfortable working autonomously
